This Privacy Policy describes how Bulked ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and stores information when you use the Bulked mobile application ("the App").
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We do not store plain-text passwords.
Protein and nutrition data
The App collects the protein intake data you log, including amounts, timestamps, and food item names you enter. This data is used to provide your history, goal tracking, streaks, and statistics.
Profile information
We collect profile data you provide including your body weight (used to calculate your protein goal), display preferences, and app settings.
Usage data
We collect basic information about how you interact with the App (e.g. features used, frequency of use) to improve the product. This data is not linked to your identity.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the App and its features
- Calculate your daily protein goal and track your progress
- Sync your data across sessions and devices
- Process subscription purchases (via RevenueCat and Apple/Google)
- Respond to support requests sent to bulkedapp-service@gmail.com
- Improve the App based on usage patterns
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, with row-level security enabled on all tables. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (SecureStore) and never stored in plain text.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Supabase
Database and authentication provider. Your email and app data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
RevenueCat
Subscription and in-app purchase management. When you subscribe to Bulked Premium, purchase data is processed through RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple / Google
In-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device. Their respective privacy policies apply to payment processing.
5. HealthKit (iOS only)
If you grant permission, the App may access Apple HealthKit to optionally read or write nutrition data. HealthKit data is used only to provide features within the App and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or stored on our servers beyond what you explicitly log in the App.
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Bulked.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and logged data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at bulkedapp-service@gmail.com and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing of your personal data

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
